Complex has become known for their great covers, combining stars with up and coming artists. For their upcoming August/September 2011 issue the magazine has worked with photographer Thierry Le Goues, who shot Beyonce for the cover.Nike Air Vapormax Sole Technology HYPEBEAST Furthermore typographic artist Ebon Heath added his work to the cover. Honoring the legend of Julius “Dr. J” Erving and the shoe he made history in, Converse recreates the classic silhouette in two all-new premium crafted versions using ultra-premium Horween Chomexcel® Leather from the legendary Chicago-based tannery. For this special release, Converse borrows Horween’s Chomexcel leather and the results are ultra-luxurious versions of the Pro Leather shoe that look clean and understated. First to release is a rich black version with burgundy accents, followed by a burgundy version with black accents.Gear Shout Nike Vapormax for COMME AU All of the shoes in the Converse Dr. J First String Standards collection will feature the words “Dr. J” subtly embossed in gold foil on the leather upper. Fewer than 400 pairs of each of the Horween leather versions will be available, with the black shoe launching September 10, 2011 and the burgundy version in November.

A nice bit of stop motion action. Designer Sarah Illenberger hails from Munich and studied her craft at Chelsea College of Art and Central St Martin’s in London. Her medium is just about anything she can get her hands on; embroidery,Nike Air VaporMax Sole Technology HYPEBEAST AU food, light…the running theme however is a sense of humour and a refusal to take design seriously. With clients such as Audi, Hermes and COS (for whom Sarah created a Selectism window), a light-hearted touch has obviously paid off.
